Indications/Uses
Cutaneous treatment of acne vulgaris when comedones, numerous papules & pustules are present.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a thin layer once a day in the evening to the entire acne-affected areas of the face & the trunk on a clean & dry skin.
Special Precautions
Should not be applied to damaged skin, either broken (cuts or abrasions), sunburn or eczematous skin. Should not come into contact w/ the eyes, lips, mouth, nostrils or mucous membranes & w/ any coloured material including hair & dyed fabrics. Discontinue in case of a reaction suggesting sensitivity. Skin irritation due to propylene glycol (E1520). Excessive exposure to sunlight or UV radiation should be avoided. Not recommended in patients w/ severe nodular/nodulocystic acne. Should not be used during pregnancy or in women of childbearing potential not using adequate contraception. Lactation. Childn <12 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Atopic dermatitis, eczema, skin burning sensation, skin irritation.
Drug Interactions
Do not use concurrently w/ other retinoids or benzoyl peroxide or drugs w/ similar mode of action. Potential additive irritant effects w/ cosmetics w/ desquamative, irritant or drying effects.
